The Green Party of Washington State will hold our Spring Convention to discuss statewide organizing campaigns, consider bylaws amendments, and to accept nominations for our Coordinating Council and GPUS delegations.

RSVP for directions to attend and the Zoom link!

Agenda:

7 PM – Statewide organizing – discussion on chapters and statewide campaign priorities

8 PM – Consider proposed bylaws amendments and nominate Green Party members for open positions on the GPWA Coordinating Council and GPUS delegation

One Coordinating Council at-large position is open for nomination. Two National Delegate and two Alternate Delegate positions are open for nomination. (Eligibility to serve as National Delegate or Alternate Delegate is reserved for GPWA members who can demonstrate active involvement with the Green Party for at least one year.)

You may nominate members for these positions until the close of the Spring Gathering. In making nominations, members should strive for diversity in as many areas as possible, including but not limited to race, gender, and geography.

Please check your membership status before the meeting. If your membership has lapsed, you can renew it here.

All Green Party members will be invited to vote for the Coordinating Council and GPUS delegation. Voting will be conducted via online ballot and administered by OpaVote.

In person at the Seattle Center – Cornish Playhouse, 2nd Ave N., off Mercer St. (201 Mercer St.) starting at 6 PM for light refreshments. The meeting begins at 7 PM.

RSVP to attend in person or to attend virtually on Zoom!
